10 years ago in Orlando, Florida, at the Pulse nightclub, a mass shooting resulted in the deaths of 49 people and the injury of 58 others. We honor the 49 angels, we wrap our arms around the survivors, and we lift the families still navigating a landscape of grief. #Rememberthem

The Florida Monument at Chickamauga stands in quiet testimony to the men of Florida who marched far from home and fought on these fields in September 1863. While exploring the battlefield this week, I paused here to reflect on the thousands of Floridians who answered their state’s call and endured the hardships of campaign, battle, disease, and separation from family. Many never returned home. The sunlight breaking through the clouds above the monument reminded me that these memorials are more than stone and bronze. They are places of memory. They connect us to the soldiers whose courage, sacrifices, and stories helped shape the history of our nation and our state. More than 160 years later, visitors still walk these fields, read their letters, study their service, and remember their names. May their memory endure. #Chickamauga #FloridaAtChickamauga #FloridaHistory #SCV #RememberThem #scv1316

This Heroes Day, our celebrations feel hollow while brothers and leaders rot in prison for truth. Uganda, we see them. We hear their silence. Free the innocent heroes trapped behind bars today. #HeroesDay #FreeOurHeroes #ReleaseThePrisoners #RememberThem #Uganda
Their names are erased from speeches, but not from our hearts. This Heroes Day, we mourn the heroes in chains and demand freedom for the innocent. Uganda, silence is betrayal. #HeroesDay #FreeOurHeroes #RememberThem

As we celebrate Heroes Day, let us remember our brothers, well-wishers, parents, and political leaders who are in prison. The government should at least forgo the day’s festivities and release those prisoners who have committed no crime. #HeroesDay #FreeOurHeroes #ReleaseThePrisoners #RememberThem

For @ZacharyLevi and the survivor’s burden in Not Without Hope 🌊🙏@_Notwithouthope A song about grief, survival, and carrying the names of the men who didn’t make it home. Sometimes living isn’t the end of the storm—it’s learning how to breathe with it still inside you. #NotWithoutHope #ZacharyLevi #SurvivalStory #TrueStory #StillBreathing #MovieMusic #RememberThem

Lest we forget. 🌺 Take a moment today to remember those who served and those who made the ultimate sacrifice. #DDay #NormandyLandings #LestWeForget #BritishHistory #WWII #RememberThem #Veterans #UnitedKingdom #TheVoteUK 🇬🇧🌺

“I didn’t just lose him on the day he died. I lost him slowly.” Nicky’s brother was just 23 years old when he died after being infected with HIV through contaminated blood treatment. He wasn’t a statistic. He was a son, a brother, a friend, and someone deeply loved. Families didn’t just lose their loved ones. They carried the fear, the caregiving, the trauma, and the grief for decades. Yet many of those who stood beside them through it all still fight to be recognised today. Please take a moment to read Nicky’s powerful story below. 👇 #InfectedBloodScandal #InfectedBloodCompensation #JusticeForFamilies #RememberThem #ContaminatedBlood #FamiliesMatter @downingstreet @cabinetofficeuk @IBCA_UK @INBLO2022
