I've been re-watching my Blakes 7 DVDs recently, in honour of the lamented and only recently late Michael Keating, and as someone with considerable computer expertise, I'm seriously enjoying watching Kerr Avon's computer programming skills that mainly appear to involve poking resprayed circuit boards with a set of chromed ratchet screwdrivers that had been mated with obscure dental implements. They did things differently in the 30th century, back in the 1970s!

I can well imagine. Hopefully the owners will get the affected section resprayed at some point to restore it to its former glory. 🤞

Good question tbh I don’t know and I’m not that familiar with these cars. Talking to the owner I do know that the colour isn’t. It left the factory cream but then the importer and Gable came up with this grey and resprayed the car. Given that, it’s entirely possible the dash was modified to Gable’s taste as well.

The other white car is done. Both bumpers repaired and resprayed Fully details (rims included)

One of my brothers had the first Vogue, limited to 1000, all in this blue. He had it resprayed to match his company logo colour, which was burgundy.

It looks cool and represents an impressive level of craftsmanship, but this is an incredibly inefficient way of doing things. These days we use swatches in the first instance, then rendering software, and one of the older clays will be resprayed for evaluation at full size and in natural light.

Very happy to finally reveal my model of L.150! The base Prairie was provided and resprayed by @GbHtrain as part of a trade, and I added my own detail parts to make her resemble the real deal, including the prominent Westinghouse Pump and associated pipework among other things
