@inazarova I just got done watching your RubyConfTH talk and it was the spark I needed to get back into coding with Ruby.

Seems like every other week there's a new study confirming Ruby is the most cost-efficient language for agentic coding. And every time, it resurfaces the "Ruby is dead" conversation. We're confident there's future in Ruby. Not just because we've seen it outperform other languages, but because of the companies actively building with Rails. This discourse inspired @inazarova's keynote at @rubyconfth. She interviewed 50 startup founders, including recent YC grads building AI, fintech, and dev tools. The takeaway: "Rails is the highest-productivity framework for startups, and the AI era only makes that advantage sharper." Watch the full talk: evilmartians.com/events/ruby…
I benchmarked which language works best with Claude Code. Ruby, Python, and JavaScript came out cheapest, fastest, and most stable! See my article in detail: dev.to/mame/which-programmin…

That's a wild difference (and I was even including Ruby events in my previous observation!). I'll try to follow up here next time I ask!

When I asked from the stage who uses AI daily for coding at the @rubyconfth - it was 90-100% of hands.
You will hear the same at technical conferences too. I spoke at multiple in the last 6 months and every time I asked for a show of hands about AI usage, it was visibly less than half. It is clear there is a long tail of AI adoption ahead of us.

I miss you, Bangkok! This was the last day of the trip to Thailand for #rubyconfth. It was awesome, and I immediately noticed that 6 days are not enough at all to experience Bangkok (especially when being a speaker for the conference :)) Next time I keep more time, see you there!
