It looks like the Xcode team is already prepared for this scenario. You can set a custom sound to play when a build starts in Xcode > Behaviors > Edit Behaviors…

I'd forgotten about this audio snippet from the game show we did at @RWDevCon a few years back!
The category 'Will it Compile?' had a musical sound board cue driven by Conditional Breakpoint @designatednerd.
I'm imagining a train car full of baffled people somewhere in Europe.

I like learning by doing. The conference I have learned the most at has been @RWDevCon, where every talk is a tutorial that the audience codes along with.
