Jesus Christ perfectly obeyed the Father in thought, word, and deed.
He did not only teach holiness; He lived it without sin.
He loved His enemies, prayed for His persecutors, blessed those who cursed Him, and did good to those who hated Him.
He turned the other cheek without surrendering truth.
He showed mercy without excusing wickedness.
He carried the cross without bitterness.
God is holy, and His commandments are not suggestions.
Scripture is truth, and it exposes every heart before the eyes of the Lord.
Jesus is Lord and Savior, the Lamb who was slain and the King who is coming again.
He calls sinners to repent, not to explain away sin.
He calls believers to obey, not in dead religion, but by the power of the Holy Spirit.
The Spirit-filled life is not loud words without holy fruit.
The Holy Spirit teaches us to forgive, pray, endure, speak truth, resist evil, and walk as children of God.
Judgment is coming, and every hidden motive, careless word, and secret work will stand before Christ.
Mercy is available now through the blood of Jesus.
Eternal life is not found in revenge, pride, hatred, or self-rule.
Eternal life is in knowing the Father and Jesus Christ, whom He has sent.
Prayer keeps the heart soft before God.
Repentance turns the soul away from darkness.
Obedience proves that faith is alive.
Christ will return, and blessed are those found faithful, watching, forgiven, and filled with His Spirit.
Are you following the crucified Lord only with your words, or also in your thoughts, mercy, obedience, and love for your enemies?
Lord Jesus, cleanse my heart, fill me with Your Holy Spirit, and make me faithful until You come. Amen.
