I'd agree with that, with the stipulation of investing slowly, over time. That way you buy more in the bad times, and make money in the good times. I suppose someone has done a model to prove this, I just know it from empirical data.

can’t you negotiate with your employer (I’m assuming that’s the blocker to publish more) to have parts of the research public? Or at least technical descriptions of parts of it?
