I wish they'd just release a Topps Baseball set with no inserts, no relics, no autos, no bullshit, just base, for the setbuilders. Like if '89 Topps came out but with current players, and make it like $60 a box, under $3 a pack, you can complete the set in like 2.5 boxes. It could even be on the old cheap cardboard. Just a straight setbuilder product. I know Heritage exists, but it's still full of all the bullshit I mentioned above, and it's way more expensive than I want.

one thing I truly love about @ampcode is how opinionated they are being. this talk from @beyang starts by rejecting MCP slop and then only gets spicier from there (subagents, @mitchellh's thread sharing, ads in your coding agent anyone?). The distinctive design vibes make them stand out in a sea of minimalist blacks and blues — our setbuilder even commented that their booth was his favorite of all, bc it was the only actual attempt at putting out more art in the world.

Local show was a dud today for me in regards to T206. But my LCS had one and it was priced cheap and is a great upgrade on my beat up copy. Usually the second best head of hair in the set has a markup. This one did not. 😂 #vintage #thehobby #setbuilder
