Riesling is one of those things like tomatoes, where the quality difference between a merely okay version, and a truly great version, is insurmountably huge. Okay Riesling isn't really worth your time. Great reason is some of the world's best wine

Love this. I always have Dr Frank’s at home (basically at all times) but have to convince people “this Riesling is not like the Riesling you’re thinking you’ll taste”

I also highly recommend Cayuga Creamery, Gimme Coffee, and the Ithaca Farmer's market. These are all mostly Seneca/ Cayuga lake, but there are so many great wineries and vendors all over the area. The Finger Lakes Wine Fest in July is also 👌👌👌
