Bash-Fußangeln gehören nicht ins Deployment. ShellCheck prüft Bash, sh, dash und ksh in der CI und stoppt unquotierte Variablen, kaputte Tests und Globs. Vollständiger Artikel: plutex.de/r/71w

Pandoc is provided in nearly every Linux distribution, and ShellCheck is used in countless CI pipelines. Functional programming has its boundaries and limitations, but it is by no means useless.

IoT Hacking - Analyzing Firmware with EMBA Firmware is often treated as a black box, but you can see what is hidden inside with EMBA. If you know the firmware that your device is running you can give it a thorough check. It will give you the CVEs, interesting files, ShellCheck and other things.. If you are working in a sensitive environment, or protecting individuals who require a higher level of privacy and security, firmware should never be taken for granted hackers-arise.com/iot-hackin… @three_cube @_aircorridor #cybersecurity

I am not quite sure what I did before `shellcheck`, but I think the answer is "a lot of my shell scripts were subtly broken".

I'm working on a thing that will enable you to create beautiful task runner CLIs like this in plain old Nix, with support for before/after, confirmation to proceed, aliases, scoped env vars, and more. And every task uses writeShellApplication so you get shellcheck for free.

github.com/moonbit-community… One of my side projects for burning through my remaining Codex quota: reimplementing the classic command-line tool ShellCheck in MoonBit. It still doesn’t support all of ShellCheck’s rules, and it’s nowhere near the original in performance yet.

i have identified another one of the few extant Haskell programs that actually does something well (`shellcheck`) (and it's causing a bunch of this bullshit in my package manager, so, farewell king. 👋)
