I was not new to building products. I'd been building since 2014 (when I was in college). Worked across big corps, AI startups, and early-stage companies before this. I had launched multiple products and apps, some reaching 5-10K users worldwide.
I'd wanted to leave my job for a long time but kept holding back. In 2023 I just said fk it, what's the worst that can happen.
Turns out it wasn't stupid after all.
Today I resigned from my job in Singapore. I will need to serve 2 months notice now.
I know some might say it's a stupid decision but well maybe yeah.
I will be starting a software development company (name and country TBD). I will also focus on building products that I want.
I will also go wherever I want without needing permission for leaves.
For 1 year I will try my best, And worst case scenario if nothing works then I will again to a full-time job and do this as a side hustle.
wish me luck :)
