#Snails are a force of nature. They eat just about everything, including decaying plants and animals - like a living, breathing garbage disposal unit.
But ever wonder why you only see them when it rains? That's because they breathe through their skin, which needs to stay moist. Land snails die if exposed to too much dry weather and heat. During sunny days, they prefer hanging out in underground burrows, or under moist vegetation.
Some people are grossed out by snails, but I could watch them for hours.
What do you think about them?
