Building PeerDrop (a WebRTC file-sharing app). Today I finished the first end-to-end SocketIO flow: Client -> CREATE_ROOM -> Handler -> Service -> Repository -> ROOM_CREATED -> Client Also cleaned up the architecture with: - Turborepo monorepo - Shared event contracts - Repository Service layers - Dedicated SocketIO handlers Trying to build this like a production system, not a tutorial project.

The guy maintains Flask-SocketIO and about a dozen other libraries. Used to love getting random PRs from strangers. It meant someone cared enough to put in the work. Now? Every unsolicited PR is LLM slop. Long generated descriptions, bullet points, emojis. No human behind it.
