I ask you, how coincidental is this?
Law firm (Slater and Gordon), that settled out of court for not acting in the best interests of Ryan Meuleman (the child Dan & Catherine Andrews hit with their car in 2013). Is now helping represent the First Nations assembly for Treaty.
The Victorian state government (ie the Victorian taxpayer) is paying for the treaty negotiations with the First Peoples' Assembly, having allocated nearly $400 million to the process since 2016.
Slater and Gordon is a law firm that has been involved in legal matters related to the treaty process, such as the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung native title claim.
So the Victorian taxpayer is funding both sides of the argument and a Labor affiliated law firm is benefiting. This firm needs more investigation.
How are they being chosen and why? Have they ever donated to any Labor MPs or the party itself. Has there been any quid pro quo?
Any wonder
@JacintaAllanMP thinks this is a “positive thing”. The taxpayer gravy train keeps landing in Labor affiliated hands.
Victorians be damned.
