Excited to introduce the DNSAudit.io CLI 🥳 It's a lightweight Go binary with zero dependencies, so you can run DNS security scans straight from the terminal instead of opening a browser. Three commands so far: - scan: a full audit with grade and findings - history: pull your recent scans - export: grab a PDF or JSON report It plays nicely in pipelines too, so you can do things like dnsaudit scan -d example.tld -j | jq '.grade.score' and wire it into CI/CD. Works on macOS, Linux and Windows. Built it for the people who live in the terminal: DevOps, sysadmins, pentesters, DDI folks. If that's you, repo and binaries are here: github.com/dnsauditio/dnsaud… The other thing I wanted to say out loud: I'm not doing this alone anymore 👇 Vikas Gupta and Rahul Kumar were colleagues of mine at SecurityTrails for over 4 years, and my brother Santiago Borges has had my back for almost 10 years, going back to my old web hosting company. Now Vikas is leading the security research & integrations side, Santiago splits his time between infrastructure and marketing, and Rahul shapes how the whole thing looks and feels. A lot of what's working right now is because of them! If you want to put it to work on your own domains, grab the CLI, request your API key, and run your first scan: dnsaudit.io/api

Your terminal shouldn’t be a black box. ShellMate turns SSH management into something that actually feels modern: 🔐 Zero-knowledge encrypted credential vault ⚡ Fast access to servers 🔄 Cross-device sync 👥 Secure team collaboration For developers, sysadmins, and security teams juggling dozens of servers, this could be the cleanest way to keep SSH access organized without sacrificing security. producthunt.com/products/she… #DevOps #CyberSecurity #SSH #Linux #SysAdmin #DeveloperTools

Very few people may know, but Doly Parton's Jolene is about two Linux sysadmins, one who installed man pages in a special configuration, and one that is about to delete those.

lol India is so starved for datacenters that hundreds of thousands of Indian businesses were using the Pakistani hosting platform Cloudways until August 2022. they deliberately hid their Pakistani origins while aggressively advertising to Indian customers. in August 2022, Cloudways was acquired by US-based DigitalOcean, who claim they’ve put up barriers so their Pakistani sysadmins no longer have access to customer data. I wouldn’t trust that claim.
data centres are draining bengaluru’s ground water. right now there are 31 data centres in bengaluru. data centres consume roughly 20 million litres of water EVERYDAY. where will that water come from because bengaluru has no river and is entirely dependent on groundwater. more data centres are planned and upcoming. our country will not survive this. the planet will not survive this. we will not survive this.
