We’ve seen Alastor work to manipulate the actions of others through hitting their vulnerabilities before, but his conversation with Vox here really showcases it tenfold. Alastor knows Vox extremely well — knows him well enough that his ego isn’t just ego but a wound, that he’ll never truly fill his cup without recognition, especially from Alastor. He breaks him down by framing every victory Vox has as borrowed, derivative, or dependent on someone else, pointing out that Vox needed allies, spies, Carmilla’s technology, and will need Charlie’s public validation before he can feel like he’s truly won. Alastor plays this card because Vox’s whole identity is built around being modern, dominant, untouchable, and better than Alastor, so when Alastor suggests that none of it counts, Vox can’t resist chasing that validation, chasing something bigger & brighter. Alastor’s “Oh, he is too easy” is such a brutal character beat because it shows Alastor was never improvising from weakness or desperation even while kidnapped. He knew exactly which nerve to press. Vox’s fixation on Alastor is still intimate enough, despite the hatred threaded through, that he listens to him, reacts to him, measures himself against him, and lets Alastor define the terms of his victory, because he is still caught in the same loop, desperate to prove himself to the one person whose opinion can still make him lose control.

Inside some of the world’s most advanced electric machines sits a component still made by a process that looks surprisingly close to sewing: thick copper wire must be pulled, bent, and threaded around a magnetic core 🧲 Tesla’s answer in patent application US 20260162879A1 is almost disarmingly simple: if winding the wire is the bottleneck, stop winding wire altogether 🎯 Instead of treating the winding as something that must be wrapped around the core, Tesla redesigns it as a rigid structure assembled around it. This shifts the challenge from controlling flexible wire to controlling geometry, opening the door to a manufacturing process built far more naturally for robots 🆒 ⏱️ If you don’t have 60 minutes for the full deep dive, here’s how that simple idea becomes a new manufacturing architecture in 60 seconds: 🧩 The winding becomes a conductive jigsaw. A U-shaped plate wraps around three sides of the magnetic core, while an I-shaped plate closes the fourth side and connects one section to the next. Repeating this pattern creates a continuous, multi-turn conductive path without threading flexible wire through the toroid. ⚡ The fragile core escapes the strain of wire winding. Because the conductors arrive pre-formed, heavy-gauge wire no longer needs to be pulled and bent around sharp corners. This could reduce assembly stress on the conductor insulation and brittle, high-permeability materials such as nanocrystalline ribbon cores. 📐 The housing becomes both a fixture and an electrical design tool. Perpendicular grooves act like a mechanical comb, holding every plate in position and controlling the spacing between adjacent turns. That geometry helps engineers control alignment, parasitic capacitance, and the safe distances between energized conductors, known as creepage and clearance. ⛓️ Temporary tabs turn loose conductors into organized panels. Break-off tabs can keep multiple stamped plates connected while they move through the factory. Robots can process an orderly group of conductors instead of repeatedly handling and aligning numerous loose pieces. 🤖 Winding becomes a repeatable robotic sequence. Flat surfaces give vacuum nozzles and robotic grippers reliable pickup points. Machines can position the plates around the core, lock them into the housing grooves, join them through laser welding or other methods, and remove the temporary carrier tabs afterward. 📈 Copper can be added exactly where the current demands it. The plates can vary in shape and thickness within the same component. Additional layers can be joined in parallel where more current capacity, lower resistance, or better heat spreading is needed. 🔌 The winding absorbs the surrounding interfaces. The stamped conductors can extend directly into PCB mounting feet, electrical taps, crossover connections, thermal paths, and rigid blade-style terminals. Functions that normally require separate parts can become part of the winding itself. ❄️ The conductor becomes part of the cooling system. The broad plate surfaces can behave like cooling fins. Openings in the PCB can also give air, heatsinks, cooling structures, or thermal-interface materials more direct access to the underside of the assembly. Taken together, these features transform power magnetics from individually wound components into configurable structural assemblies. Current capacity, electrical spacing, terminals, mounting points, and cooling paths can all be designed directly into repeatable stamped parts instead of added through separate components and secondary operations. If Tesla can validate joint reliability and electrical performance at scale, the larger prize is not just a different inductor. It is a common production system for power magnetics across vehicles, chargers, energy storage, and humanoid robots, with each component customized through geometry rather than an entirely different manufacturing process.

Today is truly a #SundayVibe. For it was the #Grace. The Amazing Grace. That carries us through every phase of life. And it's also the story line of the @nyknicks 53 year trajectory from one Championship to another. Their story (and that of their supporters) is one of perseverance, resilience and an unwavering belief. And undergirding the team was the sustaining #Grace. As shown in my photos from yesterday, in a matter of a few minutes my facial expression went from Whew... to Wow...they won it in 5!!! In the last few minutes of the game. As I reflected on the photos, I thought of our life's story threaded throughout this journey because oftentimes that's how life transitions. Things seem to be headed in a challenging direction...But, by the Grace of God...things turnaround 🙏🏾 Theirs (@nyknicks) is a testament of God's goodness and Grace. And so is ours as we walk through our daily lives. I'm so grateful for God's Amazing Grace. It's the story line of life. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 #SundayVibes #NotSoFast #GodMorning‌Sunday

I think you mean they've been threaded to be murdered in one confederation already. Seems we are intent on making it a second one. Nothing to brag about.

In 3 frames of the video you can see on the left side of each moving tray there is a tube extending down through a slot that both keeps the tray on the table and allows a power cable to come up through the left side of the tray. The power cable goes to the rear left corner where it is threaded up through a wire-wrap out the top rear left ending in the power outlet. The cooker plug 🔌 is plugged into it, across the top rear side and is wrapped around the rear right pole and down along the right side of the tray into the cooker’s right side bottom. We do NOT see the mechanism underneath the conveyor allowing power to be distributed to each tray’s power outlet. 🤷‍♂️

A lot of people think self defense is just on or off, you touch me first, its on. Which is low level thinking binary. When in reality is a constant threading of a needle of justified levels of threat and force. Which in Rittenhouses case, he threaded perfectly in chaos

x.com/i/status/2042143673631… You have probably seen this photograph many times. ❗ This is a photograph frequently cited as evidence of war crimes—specifically, human experimentation—committed by the Japanese Army's "Unit 731."❗❗❗ However, take a closer look at the victim's feet. This victim is wearing "tabi," traditional two-toed socks worn only by the Japanese. This victim was a Japanese woman brutally murdered in China during the 💥💥💥"Jinan Incident" of 1928. 💥💥💥💥 Her name was Kin Tojo, and she was 24 years old. During the Jinan Incident, this Japanese woman—Ms. Tojo—was murdered by Chinese soldiers. She met an extremely gruesome end, with both her arms cut off, her breasts gouged out, her abdomen slashed open, and her genitals stabbed. am Japanese, yet I have never read of a case of killing carried out in this manner in any Japanese historical text. This method of killing is not a traditional Japanese method. It is a method that lies entirely outside the Japanese sensibility—one that would never even cross our minds. Traditional Chinese methods of killing and massacre involve the systematic mutilation and destruction of internal organs—and, in particular, the genitals. I do not believe that such methods of torture and execution can be found in the historical records of any other nation in the world. No matter how far one searches across the globe, one will find no other country that employs methods of killing and torture as brutal as those of this nation.Neither you nor the world at large is aware of this: the Jinan Incident and the Tongzhou Incident were actual massacres in which Japanese nationals were killed by Chinese perpetrators with extreme brutality. Methods of killing included: ・ Women were raped and then killed while naked—either by having their genitals pierced with bayonets or by having brooms shoved into their bodies. ・ Men had their eyes gouged out and their upper bodies riddled with bayonet thrusts, leaving them looking like a honeycomb. ・ Children and pregnant women had wire threaded through their noses and their bellies stabbed; entire families were beheaded and had their hands severed, or were strung together in a chain and drowned in ponds. ・ There were numerous other gruesome killings, such as slashing open bellies to spill out internal organs and severing fingers. The photograph often cited as evidence of Japanese military war crimes—specifically in connection with Unit 731—actually depicts the forensic examination of bodies of victims from the Jinan Incident who had been massacred with extreme cruelty by Chinese perpetrators. The woman in the photograph is wearing *tabi* (split-toed socks)—footwear worn exclusively by Japanese people. This Japanese woman had her arms severed, her internal organs gouged out, her genitals and uterus severely mutilated, and a rod thrust into her vagina. At the time, the entire Japanese public was deeply shocked by the extremelybrutal methods of killing employed by the Chinese. Consequently, a mindset emerged that it was preferable to take one's own life rather than be captured by the enemy and subjected to extreme pain and a brutal death. It is said that, at the time, many Japanese people were horrified by the methods employed by the Chinese—methods that were utterly incomprehensible to the inhabitants of an island nation. As a result, they were encouraged to choose suicide rather than face capture by the enemy, with its attendant extreme pain, torture, and massacre . The belief that death was preferable to enduring the humiliation of becoming a prisoner of war was a lesson learned directly from these incidents. China's approach to reporting these events is truly outrageous; it completely inverts the subject and predicate of the actual occurrences. It is, quite simply, deplorable. The Nanjing Massacre by the Japanese army is a fact. However, the number of victims and the methods of killing have been greatly exaggerated. You know nothing of the facts.

China took an atrocity image, and called it a Japanese Unit 731 vivisection, (top image) They made a museum exhibit from the photo. (bottom image) What they failed to realize, was that the image was the Jinan Massacre where Chinese soldiers slaughtered 12 Japanese citizens.
