This is the prime information that makes sense of SB 525. They get kickbacks from Developers like Henke, a dirty player. Then they rewrite legislation to go over township lines to land grab for communities like Plainfield and allow other townships like Liberty to pay for it.

Now, @IndyGOP @IndyCouncil Michael Paul Hart is schilling for them.
Remember that @INDems Jared Evans was "anti-development" until he received money from TWG last year.

-Legislator gets money from developer, contractor, etc.
-Developers, etc are overcharge the jobs. $15 nails, $100 for 1 piece of OSB, etc.
-Developers, etc then give the legislators a little taste of the action.
Cycle repeats.
yes, the legislator doesn't pick the contractor. However, there is influence.
MANY fingers in the pie and everyone wants a taste.
We CONSTANTLY see this with @twgdev & @IndyMayorJoe but local media refuses to acknowledge it.
Since 2015:
Indiana gas tax revenue has increased about 32%.
Indiana total road funding has increased about 59%.
Licensed drivers have increased 5.6%.
Vehicle Miles Traveled (VMT) has increased by just over 13%.
While lawmakers want to raise your taxes and fees for road funding, they hide the massive discrepancy in increased funding far outpacing both total drivers and total road usage.
It's like they keep diverting road funding sources to the general fund or luxury rest stop toilets or something.
