Why the Twolves could (could — not will, not should — could) be a late party crasher (as i advised.. wait for the invite ✅ and arrive fashionably late but just in time for the ball)
What they should reasonably know by now is package bucks will accept and baseline of celtics/heat to beat.
So for now, i take as given truth:
• Ant, Jaden and Beringer are off the table
• Naz is only included if I know i win the bid
• TJ same as Naz
• Am fine with giving up my own draft capital (two first round picks — 2026 and 2033)
So then with remaining guys under team control, i try to replicate creating what looks like Jaden McDaniels like player from someone else to deliver to Bucks using combo of Randle, Rudy, Divencenzo, Clark and Philips… that’s too much outgoing for a Jaden-like player for Bucks but as Wolves i also need a primary ballhandler back. So, then TC and rest of crew create individual deals (separate from Bucks) that ultimately they can deliver before the clock strikes midnight with reasonable assurance the slippers fit.
Twolves outgoing: Naz TJ Draft picks (as bucks floated they would be interested in) Jaden-like not named Jaden from combo of non-core above
Wolves incoming: Giannis Lead guard
3rd Team: Players tbd receive combo of non-core and send out Jaden-esque player(s) to Bucks

It can’t be both. He’s not soft AND a “dirty” player. TWolves played physical, OKC played him physical and fouled he gave it right back, Knicks played physical and he didn’t complain. Having a bad loser attitude is not the same as being soft, ppl just wanna hate.

Add into mix if big game don’t pan out. Could be Swiss army like pivot off Randle into Young.
Go get another wing defender w taxpayer mle and Alex Karaban if available in 2nd.
In hypothetical Wolves deal, Young also would need to opt out and into a new 3-year/$120M as deal contingency to trade.
