I was doing a for fun nitpicky query and I came across a combo of - freshman - wing/big - high 3pr - bad passer All I can say is the jazz kinda have a type. And I hope this kinda makes it clear how the SG spot is the Jazz missing position. But DP's skills are a bit redundant
DP fits the Jazz positionally... but man... the playmaking does frighten me

in consensus talk. are guys who are consensusly viewed as “higher upside” just a signal that they are trying to be compensated for having a lower floor than people might think? 🤔🤔

While Tobias Harris never found the lofty heights predicted by Flocka, his NBA peak speaks to the relevance of prospects with developed (LeBron-esque?) physiques (38' max vert, 223 pounds, 3.17 sprint @ ~19 years old) and hitting admittedly mediocre physical/processing baselines
Tobias Harris the next Lebron James

for players 6’9 and above who are the prospects that come to ur mind for the intersection of shooting passing and do they do the combo better than booz?

BMI FC Rules: 1. BMI is an outdated metric for health but it's proven for basketball ability. 2. To achieve greatness you must achieve 24 and above. 3. You need to achieve above 24 at your listed height in shoes. Barefoot listing turns the threshold from 24 to 25.3.

every part of every player goes into the equation of winning. its not about good defender, elite defender it all mist be quantified. luckily you can do that and we can see. Duncan robinson would be more beneficial to the pistons offense than herro, and tobias defense is important
Pistons fans so goofy bro. We don’t need every starter to be elite or great on defense. If he’s bringing the shot creation and shooting we need who GAF if he’s not a great defender. We had a top 3 unit with Harris Duren and Duncan in it

all roads point to acuff shooting above his head this szn. what if he is rather a 36-37% 3pt shooter instead of 44?
Let's look at Darius Acuff's shooting numbers As we all know, he shot the ball really well this season at Arkansas. Was he always that good of a shooter, like in HS? Not really.. -He's probably improved his shooting a bit so he's better than than the 30% he shot pre-NCAA -But the pre-NCAA sample tells us he's probably not as good a shooter as he was at Arkansas -As it often works, the answer likely lies somewhere in the middle But if he's not great at getting to the rim or finishing at the rim. And his struggles on D are well documented And he's not the nuclear shooter he was for the Razorbacks, then how high do you draft him? Maybe top 10. I'm not sold on taking him in the top 10 Top 20? Absolutely Maybe somewhere 11-20 range. Maybe 8-10 range Personally I wouldn't take him higher than 9 or *maybe* 8 The passing is really good, though
