We're thrilled to announce that students from the following schools have shined at the Florida State Science and Engineering Fair, the world's largest pre collegiate science and engineering competition: @BurnsSciTech, @NSBHSBarracudas, River Springs Middle, @HinsonHurrican1, @delandbulldogs, @GalaxyMiddle and @GreatDay2BAHawk. Join us in congratulating these incredible students with two special shout outs: -Lilly Downs, Galaxy Middle School, 1st Place in Engineering (our first in over 10 years!) and top place winner in the State Science Olympiad. -Salsabeel Eldeeb and Ahmed Eldeeb, Spruce Creek High 4th Place in Earth and Environmental Sciences, invited to compete in the International Science and Engineering Fair in LA! @VCSscience

Congratulations to @GreatDay2BAHawk's Advancing Glaciers team who placed 1st in Volusia's Envirothon Competition and placed 2nd place at the state competition! The Envirothon is an outdoor natural resource education program for high school students who are challenged in five disciplines: Forestry, Wildlife, Aquatics, Soils, and a current environmental issue. Shoutout to their coach Josh Platt for his amazing leadership of this team for two decades! @FUTURES_Inc, @VCSscience, @DukeEnergy
