When you get into the quantity levels SpaceX is, it becomes not whether individual GPUs are becoming obsolete, it becomes by unit size as a whole computing box. Like disks in a zfs cluster, if you have multiple whatever TiB in a vdev, you start to go "okay just draid3 the whatever 96 vdev zpool" - because you operate at an affordance of entire sets.
It's expected that the GPUs will not ride the wave, but they can launch satellites faster than gpus age out (and get rented out to other markets, which I'm sure will happen), by quite a lot.
