We were looking at a Bradford architecture exhibition yesterday. Lots of photos of blokes in quarries, blokes building houses and mills.
All had shirts, weskits and hats - quite often bowlers. The supervisors had watchchains and ties.
Today men can't even tie shoe laces.

My girlfriend suggested Appenzeller hair jewellery as a bonus art for this AU. It’s part of the local folk costume. Traditionally, young women would also make their fiancés watchchains out of their own hair.
