We attended the @MoffittNews Town Hall at the Angeline Academy of Innovation. Over 2,000 people will be doing research in a 250,000 square foot lab space opening in June 2026. Moffitt will be the first cancer center with its own AI machine department and the only one with a dedicated bioengineering program. ⚛️While RNs, medical assistants, facilities staff, and HVAC techs for research will be among the first hires, the most in-demand roles include pharmacists, radiologists, and radiation therapists. 🏥The ambulatory center is set to open January 26, 2026, with proton therapy services following on May 26.
