X's new algorithm is silently drifting us apart, and our intellectual voices have been suppressed. Friends, have you noticed that posts from our finest Urdu writers have disappeared? Poetry, politics, and thought-provoking writings have all gone missing. I only see posts from a few kind friends whose notifications I have explicitly turned on. I am not seeing posts from Urdu-writing friends at all, and this isn't just my problem—it is a problem for all of us. The old algorithm used to deliver your content to people interested in the same categories, but the new algorithm is the complete opposite. Now, X will only show your posts to those with whom you interact. The real issue is that 90% of our best writers, political analysts, and Urdu poets do not interact with others, which causes their reach to vanish completely. Even if views are coming in, they are mostly from non-verified users. X will only push your post to Blue Tick verified users when you like a verified user's post, or they like yours. The solution is very simple, and I have just one small request: You don’t need to comment on my posts or write long replies. Just give it a 'Like' whenever you see my post. When you like it, X will start showing your posts on my timeline as well, and I will also receive a notification. This will increase your reach and break down these digital walls between us. X is very different from other social media platforms. If you don't visit someone's timeline for a day, it feels as if that person has left X entirely. Currently, most of my interaction is with people who just keep saying "Good Morning," "Good Afternoon," and "Good Night" three times a day. Since this new algorithm, I only see "Good Morning" posts on my feed, while Urdu content—including poetry, politics, excellent quotes, casual chit-chat, and videos—is completely invisible. This isn't just my problem; it affects everyone. No matter how big your account is, if you don't react to others' posts, consider that you have reduced your own reach yourself. This is why I can't see the writings of my sincere political colleagues, and my feed has shrunk to merely formal greetings. My request to everyone is simply to 'Like' my post whenever you see it, so this digital wall can be brought down. Good writing is my weakness, and replying to it is an even greater weakness.
