Ending section 21 was just the start. Now it's time to bring down the rents.

Section 21 eviction ABOLISHED 1 May 2026.
This is a huge victory for organised tenants. But the government has left us unprotected over the Winter.
We must get organised and defend each other from homelessness. Once S21 is history, we can push forward for rent controls.

The Renters' Rights Bill abolishing section 21 is now LAW. This is a massive victory for renters. It gives us more power to fight for wider transformations like rent controls.
