As a result of a US government directive, we are suspending access to Claude Fable 5 for all users. You can continue to use all other Claude models. Here’s what this means for you: Across Claude products, new sessions will run on your selected default model or Opus 4.8, and existing Fable 5 sessions will end with an error. On the Claude Platform, requests to Fable 5 will also return an error. Please update your integrations to other Claude models. We know this is a disruption to your workflows; we appreciate your patience and support.
The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees. The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance. Access to all other Claude models is not affected. We apologize for this disruption to our customers. We believe this is a misunderstanding and are working to restore access as soon as possible. Read our full statement: anthropic.com/news/fable-myt…

This is what the UK spyware proposal means. There must be government spyware on every mobile device. It shall watch everything that happens, including always watching the screen, looking for things the government disapproves of. When anything is flagged by the software as something the government doesn't like, the software must block it from being sent or displayed (in realtime). The user of the device must not be able to shut this watching and blocking off. The only way to shut it off would be to ask the government or its proxies to do so for you, at their discretion. Therefore the whole device must be locked down. Administrator rights and the decision of what software or operating system to run or not to run must be taken from the owner/user and handed to the government and its proxies. Apple and Google are themselves working hard to lock down the devices they are involved in to shut out competition and establish a duopoly. The UK government says it is "working closely" with Apple and Google and currently they synchronise and coordinate their communication on this subject. The UK government is now proposing to mandate what would otherwise be illegal anti-competitive practices. @GrapheneOS on the Apple and Google duopoly: x.com/GrapheneOS/status/2053… Statement from @signalapp x.com/signalapp/status/20640… @ReclaimTheNetHQ on the state spyware: reclaimthenet.org/starmer-ca… The government announcement: gov.uk/government/news/new-p…

Our statement on the UK government’s demand that all content on all devices sold or used in the country be scanned, on the presumption of nudity, using a dystopian combination of age verification and content scanning. This proposal will not safeguard children. It endangers us all. signal.org/blog/pdfs/2026-06…

šŸ¦”Leonardo is a $17 billion defense contractor. It built a system called SignalTrace that clips sensors onto the license plate readers already mounted on street poles, overpasses, and police cars across the US. Every time you drive past one, the sensor grabs the Bluetooth and WiFi signals from every device in your car, ties them to your plate, and logs the time and location. Your phone, your AirPods, your kid's tablet. All of it goes into the same file. A friend rides with you once and their devices are linked to your plate. Leonardo has sold this to police departments since at least 2023. There is no federal law covering it, no opt-out, and no warrant requirement. My Take None of the pieces here are new. Your phone has always broadcast a signal. The license plate cameras were already there. Leonardo just connected them and found a buyer. Nobody had to break a law or build anything from scratch. They assembled a surveillance system from parts already in place and sold it before anyone noticed. Most people found out this week from a 404 Media investigation. Leonardo received the patent in 2024. By the time you hear about something like this, the deals are done and the sensors are on the poles. That's how it works now. We recently submitted a confidential S-1. We expect it to leak so we’re just announcing it. We have not decided on timing yet; it may be a while because there are things we want to do that are likely easier as a private company. But it’s a complicated set of tradeoffs and this gives us the option to go public sooner if that ends up being best. This announcement is being made pursuant to Rule 135 under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended, and does not constitute an offer to sell or the solicitation of an offer to buy any securities. Any offers, solicitations of offers to buy, or any sales of securities will be made in accordance with the registration requirements of the Securities Act.

In iOS 27, it appears Apple is working on a feature to allow carriers to limit apps on your iPhone if you miss a payment: "If your balance isn’t paid in full by the time specified in the contract, <n/a> may block access to most of your apps and their associated subscriptions on this iPhone." It's possible this can mean something else, but it's unclear.

SPACEX IPO OVER-SUBSCRIBED AHEAD OF RECORD $75B LISTING SpaceX has already received orders exceeding available shares in its $75B IPO, suggesting strong demand shortly after marketing began. The offering, priced at $135 per share, could value the company at about $1.8T. Trading is expected to start June 12. The deal, led by major Wall Street banks, uses a rare fixed-price structure instead of a typical price range.

Now we know why Peter Thiel packed his bags for Argentina. Milei just submitted his AI legislative framework to Congress, where he proposes: - zero regulation on AI development, - a brand-new "non-human corporation" category for AI/robot-operated entities with limited liability -a low-tax regime with flexible governance rules. The Dutch East India Company gave the world the limited liability company in 1602. Milei wants Argentina to do the same for autonomous AI agents in 2026.

Initial thoughts on PDT being removed: I'd describe the action so far with one word: Erratic Almost feels like these newbie traders are trigger happy, hitting buy/sell buttons at random spots with minimal tools on their tiny phones or something. Result is a lot of tops and bottoms at more random spots and many reclaims on stocks that should be dead. We'll see as the day goes on if things stay like this.
P/L: $7.6KšŸ‘ PDT is history and today's action was definitely wild to say the least. Was up $9.4K on the day then got chopped up on both sides of $STI and was down -$15.5K. Spend the rest of the day trying to recover and was able to mainly by shorting backside on $STI. Got really good reads on $EDHL both sides. $VERU nice midday trade. $NEXR $INDP $VIVK wallet padders. AH was active $RMSG $BGMS $LFS $SMTK some nice opportunities. Glad to be green after all that.

Uruguay just became the best Plan B residency in South America. Here's how it works: Get a hearing date, come to Uruguay with your documents, apply, wait 8-12 months for approval, then you're a permanent resident. Until recently, applicants were typically expected to spend the entire 8-12 month processing period inside Uruguay. This was a dealbreaker for most. But in the last 1-2 years, we're seeing people who apply correctly with all needed documents upfront get approved without spending any time in Uruguay during the processing period. This is the gamechanger. You come to Uruguay for a few days for your hearing, apply, then you're free to leave. 8-12 months later, with a clean application & documents, you'll be approved. And no need to return. In practice, it now works just like Paraguay. Show up, apply, leave. On top of that, Uruguay's residency goes straight to permanent. There's no temporary residency in Uruguay, meaning no yearly renewal needed. Once you're approved, it's a permanent Plan B, and you only need to enter Uruguay once every three years to keep it. Uruguay was already a winning option: - The financial Switzerland of South America with multi-currency international banking. - An 11-year tax-free holiday on foreign income. - Incredibly safe and family-friendly. - Beautiful coastline & beaches. - Cheaper than the US and Europe. If you're looking for your Plan B or your Plan C, Uruguay probably just became your next best option. Being approved counts on one thing: a correct and complete application on your hearing day. I've partnered with the firm in Uruguay best prepared to handle and process Plan B-focused applications, with minimal physical presence. DM me for information and we'll get you started.

The first AI-designed hair loss drug on the market now has human data. We measured what MINX, our 5 mg oral minoxidil lipid-matrix capsule, does in the bloodstream. Most oral minoxidil hits your blood fast, peaks, then comes down. That sharp spike is hypothesized to be part of what drives side effects. But when MINX was taken after food, the release curve was still going up 8 hours later. The highest measured level was only ~6 ng/mL, about 6x lower than published immediate-release 5 mg oral minoxidil data, with near-complete relative bioavailability. For comparison, published standard 5 mg oral minoxidil data peaks around ~35 ng/mL in ~30 minutes. This is not proof of better hair growth or fewer side effects. But it is an early signal that MINX may behave very differently in the blood than immediate-release oral minoxidil. The data was strong enough that we filed our 10th provisional patent yesterday.
