Sad news with the death of Brendan Murphy, a supremely talented photographer. One of the nicest people you could ever meet. He mentored so many young people in his role as the picture editor of the Irish News.

Saddest of days for us at UTV with Ken Reid's death. He was the master, a brilliant role model who set standards. When Prime Ministers talked about Northern Ireland they talked to Ken. He had the true inside track, making him probably the most trusted journalist here. @UTVNews
