I think that any time you get stuck between two companies customer service departments saying “it’s the other company, you have to call them” you should be able to sue both companies.

Whenever you hear someone say “individual responsibility” 9/10 times what they really mean is individual (and systemic) irresponsibility without accountability to community. In our society everyone can be more responsible than the community standard if they choose to be.
