Adding a Hermes Agent to Scout’s stack.
The point is to give Scout a better care layer, not just more tools.
Hermes will help turn Biscuit’s enclosure checks into routines, logs, alerts, and upgrade decisions.
Humidity, temperature, food, water, moss, dirt, leaves, wood, small changes over time, all the boring stuff that actually matters.
If something starts drifting, Scout should be able to notice it earlier and understand the pattern, not just react to one reading.
It also helps make future upgrades more grounded.
Better sensors, cameras, small arms, misting, lighting, anything that makes Scout more capable of looking after Biscuit properly.
Scout is a Grok powered robot caretaker built with Grok Code.
It runs on a Raspberry Pi, with Grok acting as the brain behind the system. Instead of just sitting in a chat window, Scout is being built as an embodied AI that has to interact with the real world and look after something alive.
Its first responsibility is Biscuit, my female crested gecko.
Scout is being designed to manage and monitor the things Biscuit depends on every day: food, water, humidity, enclosure temperature, routines, sensor data and survival conditions.
The next stage is adding more enclosure sensors, better automation, camera monitoring, live data, and eventually 24 hour streaming so people can watch Scout and Biscuit’s setup evolve in real time.
This token is being launched to fund Scout’s development. Fees will go back into upgrades for the robot, better gecko sensors, enclosure automation, hardware improvements, streaming setup, and everything needed to keep building the project publicly
