30 years ago today I went on a blind date, I pulled up in my red XR3 & thought I was chocolate. As was the fashion I pulled my jeans up to my chest and knocked the door. To celebrate Mrs H didn't buy me chocolate she got me 3 tins of olive oil coz its good for my old joints.

Lovely to be nominated as a finalist in the "best independent card retailer WALES" category. Good luck to everyone else who's been chosen, I'm up against some other very special outlets, so well done to them, it's fab to be recognised for all our hard work. @Prog_Greetings

Tommy is Autistic, he doesn't watch much telly, he doesn't have any comprehension of what he reads, BUT he loves music. He shouted out this morning in huge excitement "Dad Dad @WhisperingBob Bob Harris is on the telly" ..Tommy says "Get well & happy retirement Bob" @BBCRadio2

Sad to hear about Judith Chalmers passing today. When I was in Car sales we had a little saying. If a vehicle had a good service history we would say "Its got more stamps in the service book than Judith Chalmers passport" I said that 100s of times & it always tickled me. R.I.P.

Isn't it funny how you develop weird traits as you get older:- Ear hair, You look at beige cardigans on the sale rail, you go for comfort not fashion, check the weather forecast, switch off lights, complain about the cost of a cuppa.. And find D.i.Y skills you never knew you had.

When chatting to exhibitors at Gift & card trade shows up and down the UK they say stuff like "as you're from Cardiff is the Principality stadium close to the City Centre?" I usually say "yes, quite close , about 10 foot away". Loved watching the #Hyrox there this weekend .

I joined Mum in the shop in 1994 (32 years ago) in that time we've been busy, bigger, smaller, changed direction, quieter & of course the lockdown, so after 32 years you'd be right in thinking I can get a bit stale. However greetings cards always make me smile in the morning.
