the stat for lesbians is striking but honestly now is the first time i noticed how many more queer/bi ppl in this study are willing to date trans men but not trans women than the other way around. and wild that there are that many of them in general.

I have an idea for a study that would expand on the infamous “willing to date trans ppl” study. First you show them a range of range of passing trans people and ask them if they would be willing to date any of them, then tell them they’re all trans and see how the answer changes

Wanting to not get bottom surgery is fine, but I feel like the rise in stuff suggesting “trans women = girl with a penis” coming from trans people instead of cis people is a product of obsession with validity politics (and in some cases cope) at the cost of material demands.
