Dame Judy Dench and Sir Derek Jacobi have both said that a "successful career in acting is down to luck, bucket loads of luck." Does anyone know where I can get a bucket load of luck from? Because I could sure do with some.

Just watching the Olivier Awards, would love to win one of them. Not much hope though for a working-class actor working in fringe theatre. It's still very elitist at the top.

One of my acting heroes. The great @themichaelcaine is 91 years young today. It's always been one of dreams to meet and act with him. Sadly it will just stay a dream.

Brasil's legendary Zico is 71 today. He represented Brasil in 3 World Cup's from 1978 to 86, and was part of Brasil's great 1982 team. He spent a year in Italy playing for Udinese, but spent the majority of his career playing for his home club Flamengo.
