i think a big part of why kids TV died was that it was now targeting Gen Alpha, who have different tastes, but most of the greenlights still felt frozen in the Gen Z era
i feel like not letting younger people into the industry execs' reluctance to experiment caused that
complaints about modern animation feeling samesy could easily be solved by just letting Gen Zers into the industry
millennials have dominated the industry for well over a decade now which is why 20s toons are indistinguishable from 10s toons and that eventually gets boring
