The fact that wildlife officials are even contemplating killing wolves is frustrating b/c, ever since the state began killing wolves in 2012, we’ve seen that killing wolves doesn’t solve problems.
WA DFW are again (potentially) targeting wolves to benefit private industry. The state is considering killing a wolf or wolves from both Leadpoint Dominion pack, claiming that if they do decide to kill the wolves, livestock attacks will decrease.

.@POTUS@Interior@USFWS@SecDebHaaland The @USDA killing program is an abomination and has to end. Protect America's remaining wildlife. End public (welfare) ranching on our public lands.
In 2023 USDA killed over 375,000 native animals nationwide using inhumane methods like traps, snares, poisons, & aerial gunning. The program primarily serves commercial agriculture interests. The report underscores that wolves are already being killed in Minnesota without a hunt.
