Settled into my family's temporary summer home in Italy where Iām writing several papers in my queue. I moved into academic admin in spring 2020 and just completed my 3-year review. Iāve loved the work of leading an interdisciplinary school and excited to start the next term!
As always, working with colleagues on challenging problems is the most rewarding part of university life. My first term included negotiating the pandemic, launching new academic programs, and continued research collaboration. It's time for the next chapter: cheers to a new day

This report is an excellent step forward outlining concrete recommendations for EU data sharing policies written by researchers and tech companies. How much more time until this could actually be implemented? ā°
This should interest #ica22 folks. The @EDMO_EUI working group, led by our incredible @RebekahKTromble, has just published its report on platform-to-researcher data access.
This will lead to a Code of Conduct, paving a road to (some) platform data.

Just finished packing for my flight home from #ica22. An amazing week and a great organization. It was joyful to be back in person with friends and colleagues. (Despite some COVID anxiety.) Thanks to all the organizers. Au revoir. š
