Introducing O(1) A zero-knowledge protocol artwork. Its title is its thesis: that the entire history of its ownership — however complex or deep — can collapse to a constant, committed to a single slot of Ethereum storage. [ 72h Open Edition | .01 ETH | June 10 - 13 ] 1/

Congratulations to @hashrunner_ on one of the most innovative on chain art installations (is that the right word?) that I’ve seen. I don’t fully understand the cryptographic elements of it but it was a pleasure to be part of it. Special thanks to @YigitDuman for allowing us to mint an NFT wrapper to commemorate our involvement.
[ O(1)'s participation window has been closed, and contract ownership renounced ] one recursive ZK proof, now and forever 186 collectors deep. 14,752 bytes as it always was. while the proof never grew, its history did. a heartfelt thank you to everyone who reached out, became part of the proof, tweeted... moments like these are a huge part of why i do this <3 O(1).

Less than 3 hours left. This is a fun one.
🚨 just under 6 hours left before O(1)'s proof closes forever at 5pm utc. this is the final reminder. you are all invited, the proof is indifferent to scale. every image a verification. one fact. arbitrarily deep history. O(1). (↓)

It's getting more and more chaotic! Last 2.5 hours to join the proof and mint more. I want to see how far we can go. wo1.yigitduman.com/

the really great thing about ZK artworks is you don't have to understand them O(1)

Web3 in 2021: "Pay $10k for a picture of a monkey." Web3 now: "Pay @hashrunner_ money to verify a cryptographic state transformation and you get absolutely nothing." We are so back!!! 😭 Time(V) ∈ O(1) [where state₇₄ ∈ ℙ ∧ Asset(π₇₄) = ∅]

I minted the recent project by @hashrunner_ using the wrapper created by @YigitDuman It is a fascinating example of zero-knowladge protocol art: a work where the proof is not metadata, not infrastructure, not a backend mechanism, but the artistic material itself. 0(1) remains zero-knowledge protocol art. The wrapper turns its participation record into tokenized interface without changing the deeper fact : the original work is still the proof, not the token.

beauty of working on a permissionless, composable substrate… if you've already joined the proof, your position can now be wrapped as a token. new mints deploy a fresh collector contract which joins the O(1) proof identically, and receives a token mirroring their position. nothing about O(1) changes. mechanically faithful and built with a sensitivity and thoughtfulness that only @YigitDuman could pull off in 24h. bravo! 🙏
O(1) is one of the most groundbreaking works created recently. Its creator, @hashrunner_, wanted to keep it conceptually pure and chose not to introduce a token. But EVM is an open canvas, and I couldn’t resist seeing what happens when O(1) gets wrapped. Introducing Wrapped O(1), an ERC-721 wrapper that lets you exhibit, trade, gift, speculate on, and collect more O(1)s. 🧵

[ O(1) is 24h in, with 48h left for anyone to join ] One recursive ZK proof, now 50 collectors deep. Still 14,752 bytes. Can you feel succinctness yet, anon?

ps: some metamask users have reported a "deceptive request" error. this is a false positive and can be safely ignored, as shown by the 67 proof submissions so far :)
