ng Healthy Kids Day at the YMCA. This was a nation-wide YMCA event yesterday. So glad to sign kids and families up for library cards and talk up Summer Reading!

Miss Megan helped with Petal Story Time today. After some great storybooks, songs, and movement, we had fun making hedgehogs. Great Day!

Story Time in Hattiesburg! Our craft is a very cute hedgehog with story books to match! Come join us in Hattiesburg for Story Time on Wednesdays at 10:00 and/or in Petal on Thursdays at 10:00. It's always so much fun!

Both the Hattiesburg Library and Petal Library will be closed Monday, April 22nd for staff development. We will reopen Tuesday with regularly scheduled hours.

Due to threatening weather the Hattiesburg Library and Petal Library will close at 3 pm today (April 18). We plan on returning to our normal scheduled hours tomorrow.

Baa baaa! Our young story time sheep at Petal had fun reading sheep stories and creating sheep puppets. Now everyone knows that sheep say, "Baaaaa!"
