If you are turned away at the polls because your name is not on the register, don't walk away. Say this: I REQUEST A PROVISIONAL BALLOT AS REQUIRED BY LAW. Don't let them steal your vote.

Trump would hate if you RT his off the script comments where he belittled auto workers saying they just assemble parts “out of a box” and says children could do their jobs. Are you listening Michigan workers?

As the United States confronted a shortage of COVID tests during the height of the pandemic in 2020, Trump encouraged Americans to stop testing as he secretly sent our tests to Vladimir Putin for his personal use, per a new book by Bob Woodward.

Florida is recovering from one hurricane while another is on the way. -The Republican Governor is refusing to talk with the President to coordinate hurricane relief -All Florida Republicans in Congress voted against supplemental disaster relief money for FEMA -82 House Republicans, including 11 from Florida, voted to shut down the government, knowing a powerful hurricane was on its way -The Republican-controlled House took a vacation for the month of August instead of passing a budget on time, which means no new FEMA budget -The Republican Speaker of the House is refusing to reconvene Congress from their second month-long vacation to pass emergency supplemental funds for FEMA -The Republican presidential nominee continually lies about the federal disaster response instead of making sure his voters have the correct information to receive help -The Republican party wants to eliminate FEMA and NOAA (the agency that monitors, tracks, and predicts the path of hurricanes) -The Republican Party refuses to acknowledge climate change while watching insurance companies leave Florida because increasingly stronger storms are making insurance claims too expensive to operate Florida, why do you keep voting for the party that not only does nothing for you but actively works against your best interests?

BREAKING: In a stunning moment, CNN just fact checked Donald Trump’s claims that FEMA is skimming funds off the top for migrants. It’s no shocker that Trump is lying for his own benefit. Retweet so all Americans see the media hold Trump accountable.

The NY Times finally did a story on Donald Trump’s cognitive decline. It’s currently the main story on their site. “He rambles, he repeats himself, he roams from thought to thought — some of them hard to understand, some of them unfinished, some of them factually fantastical. He voices outlandish claims that seem to be made up out of whole cloth. He digresses into bizarre tangents about golf, about sharks, about his own “beautiful” body. He relishes “a great day in Louisiana” after spending the day in Georgia. He expresses fear that North Korea is “trying to kill me” when he presumably means Iran. As late as last month, Mr. Trump was still speaking as if he were running against President Biden, five weeks after his withdrawal from the race.” 🔗 nytimes.com/2024/10/06/us/po…

10 simple facts about North Carolina/Helene: 1. Biden declared a national emergency on Friday 2. Biden declared a major disaster on Saturday, which means survivors can already apply for FEMA funds 3. There are 5,000 national guardsman in North Carolina 4. The U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and U.S. Health and Human Services are all working throughout the region 5. Biden spoke to Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp (R) who said he got "everything he asked for" from POTUS in Georgia. 6. Gov. Roy Cooper (D) asked Biden, Harris and Trump to stay out until rescue missions were complete for obvious reasons 7. Local groups and orgs typically lead the immediate relief efforts; the feds support with $$ and additional resources but are rarely the first to respond (again, for obvious reasons) 8. FEMA & local groups are shipping in food and supplies via truck, plane, and even freaking mules! 9. FEMA search and rescue teams are on the ground and have been for days 10. This website is full of people lying about 1-9.

If I was Lego, I would release a special set of Jimmy Carter building a house for Habitat for Humanity and raise the age to 100 just for that set. All profits go to Habitat for Humanity. Total missed opportunity.
Jimmy Carter is now too old to play with Legos 🧱

Good morning. In 2022, several of us worked with Joe Biden and Kamala Harris to pass the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act. Crime then began to plummet. Now, the 2024 murder rate is on pace to be the lowest since the 1950s. Pass it on.
