Last yr
@100schoolHQ was nearly ended by AI and sucked the life out of me.
This yr we have 📈 revenue AND - I’ve found more "life" in life.
Here are some life (and work) lessons insights I wanted to share in case useful 👇
1️⃣ quit playing it cool.
“life is short, be intent, passionate and mildy insane. whoever's left hanging is your friend” -
@nickgraynews
2️⃣ big decisions can be easier than you think
Asking these 3 x Q’s has radically simplied ( improved) my decisions:
- “would 85yr old me regret not having done this thing?” if yes, DO IT!
- “is this a one door (irriversible) or two door (reversible) decision”?
- “what’s the worse case scenario?” oh it’s actually normally not that bad, so go DO the thing!!
3️⃣ Be radically human
Ai is making everything feel inhuman. So be more HUMAN!
“You can't outsource soul” -
@JesseItzler
4️⃣ Treat your career more like a startup, than a job
Entrepreneurs are the only category of professionals untied to one replaceable skill and inherently wired to be value generating machines.
the new world of work demands *that* because we're now in the "value economy".
5️⃣ Energy never lies
does it feel like a game to you but a chore to others? that's your signal.
Same with relationships - do you feel more hyped or drained after seeing someone? That's your compass.
6️⃣ You are your only security
The new professional isn't defined by a company, degree, or role - just their mindset to adapt, learn, and create value.
"skills are the only thing that can't be taken from you"
7️⃣ stop trying to fit in. Your weird is your edge.
“i’m just gonna make what’s cool to me and sometimes the whole world will agree” -
@MikePosner
i’m just grateful to be building something meaningful, in the trenches, free to experiment - exactly where I want to be!
Keep it 💯 2025 is going to be GREAT!
