AI (SaaS) welcome emails have this problem “Welcome to [insert AI company] It's fine, but generic. There's thousands of emails with that title. And people have grown numb to seeing that. They no longer open emails that start with that phrase But if you want them to open your email, your title needs to stir their emotions and draw their attention immediately… by stating their problem straight up. After all, the subject line of your email is your hook. And “Welcome” doesn't hook anyone PS. How important is your email onboarding sequence?

The messy middle of thinking is real. The idea exists. The direction is not clear yet. The structure keeps changing. The next step depends on seeing the whole picture. That is exactly where Amethyst Mapper is intended to help. Waitlist: amethyst-toolkit.pro/communi…

"Writing a 5-word landing page is physical torture." an AI (SaaS) founder told me. "Compared to that," he said. "writing 1,000 lines of code feels like a personal vacation." And he wasn't the only one other founders say the headline part is pure pain, or it feels like quoting your customers back. But compared to writing those, building is fun. Makes me realize that there's some things you gotta leave to someone else, so you can focus on what you actually enjoy. PS. would you leave your product message to someone else to handle, or go through the pain yourself while building?

if you're making your landing page, focus on outcomes. not features, not even benefits. what does it look like when a someone uses your product on a normal Tuesday? build with that in mind.

even if you don't have the choice to slow down, try...
Mental Health Check 🫂 How is everyone doing today? On X we post our thoughts, share our wins and talk about ourselves but forget the human side of actually checking in with people. Especially builders who are grinding every single day. Mental health is a REAL thing that not a lot of us talk about. So I'm asking genuinely, how are YOU doing? Not your startup. Not your metrics. Drop a comment in the replies. We build better when we feel seen.

The door opens. 'Right on time,' you think as you lean forward with your hands on the desk. A man walks in. In a suit, and polished shoes. Matches the resume. You shake hands, and then he sits down. Now it's time for questions. "Can you tell me more about yourself?" You ask. He opens his mouth, and you instantly regret it. He tells you about his skills and what he does for a living How he sees himself as the best fit for the job. You're confused. Then disappointed. So you tell him, "I'll get back to you." The look on his face, he knows you won't get back to him. And you know your customers won't get back to you if they whisper "I'll come back tomorrow", as they look for something else. Your product features won't make them buy, So switch to their POV. PS. tell me the feature-benefit problem isn't timeless now.

"But that audience gotta convert though" You got that right. There's been a shift toward trust lately. You feel it, don't you? People here no longer want "value" content. They want to build real connections. They want to know who's behind the product. They want to trust you. But you don't want to show your face. You know marketing is important, but you enjoy just building. Answer me this, friend, is hiding behind the camera more important than not getting up from bed to refresh Stripe every five minutes? Because the thing that stops that, is people buying. And people only buy from someone they trust. Become that person. PS: Any way to put yourself out there besides turning on the camera?

I see AI (SaaS) founders talk about distribution: And they mention distribution channels like X, LinkedIn, Influencer collaborations Which is fine and all, But email comes up less than I'd expect. If you're a founder using email, why do you think it isn't coming up much?

Building is fun... But don't get carried away, and forget to build around your user.

Builders, I'm confused... do you sell to users through email? or landing pages? Because I keep seeing more builders using X DMs to convert their audience to paid users. Is that really where the conversion happens?

It's quality over quantity...
If you have a real solution, to a real problem - don't use bold claims to promote it. Don't pay tons of cash for cheap marketing that makes you look like everybody and everything. Choose quality, real connection, real feedback, real people.

You're a builder, and X is your marketing strategy. Fine You get the followers. Your audience is interested. But... What next? Where do you take them? Where do you turn them to customers? Tell me.

Slow, down The world is fast, I know. But if you don't slow down, you'll miss the details. And you'll miss that clarity you need if you miss the details.
