I’ve heard a few people say over the past few months, “do Mayor’s even matter, when you have a hole in the budget as big as we do, isn’t the job to lobby other governments.”

Redoing my portfolio and reviewing my old work.
1. I had mega imposter syndrome. Looking at these presentations now, I wish I could go back and tell myself that it's OK to mess up. As long as learning was happening.

5. I fell in love with pin pointing problems, and focusing on that. It shaped my entire worldview. Instead of making things up just to make things work - why was there a problem in the first place?

6. This 2 year break was much needed. I'm recharged and ready to get back to it. There's so much to learn and I am eager to start.

I am open and looking to apply to any UX Research positions that are open to new grads, interns, or entry-level positions starting after September 2023. It may be a bit early, but I already see a few applications opening up! I am finishing up my Master's program in August 2023.

It's election day in some cities across Ontario! The elections I'm aware of / have been paying attention to are in London, Toronto and Ottawa. So if you're in any of those cities - get out to vote!!! You're daily life will be impacted (in good or bad ways) due to city council.
