Run this playbook (even if you have to fake it at first) and your results will astound you. I’ll make you a bet— Change nothing on the first two. Keep your team. Keep your vision. Only adjust 3 and 4– Be a yardstick for quality—on the next thing that you review—send it back. Tell your team it’s not good enough. Tell them you want to see a better version tomorrow. Give them no additional information. The version tomorrow will be massively better. Then on the next project, ask them how long it will take to complete… If they tell you a month tell them they have until next Friday. If they tell you a week tell them they have until this Friday. If they tell you Friday, tell them they have until EOD. If they tell you EOD, tell you you will check back in an hour to review. I bet you that if you make test those two changes you will see that your team can produce way better quality way faster than you ever imagined. Better output, faster, is the only difference between you and whatever future you imagine for your company.

Their calendar is mostly empty While everyone else is in back-to-back meetings They're thinking 3 quarters ahead A full calendar means you're still a founder An empty one means you're finally a CEO 6. They're obsessed with retention, not growth They know the math: 5% improvement in retention = 25-95% increase in profits Keeping a customer costs 5x less than getting a new one Unsexy? Yes Profitable? Always 7. They say "I don't know" without flinching Insecure CEOs have all the answers $100M CEOs have all the questions They're not trying to be the smartest person in the room They're trying to build the smartest room The pattern? $100M CEOs do the opposite of what feels natural Because what got you to $1M will kill you at $10M And what got you to $10M will bury you at $100M The ones who make it? They're the ones willing to burn their old playbook Every. Single. Time.
