It only took 7 months, 11 rounds of closed testing, nearly 50,000 players, 3 million dead mutants, and an environmentally concerning amount of ammunition spent in the Purple Lands. DDoD Demo is finally LIVE! Jump into our Purple Land and discover the top-down roguelite shooter we created and tweaked with the feedback of the community. Play main and side quests, alone or with your friends, enjoy a dozen of tailored weapons, explosives, new locations full of foggy encounters, dungeons, and around 2 hours of Open World exploration and fluent gunplay . New dungeons, same feeling. We want you all to know how much we appreciate our fantastic community, and we hope to open our arms to even more of you with this demo. As we have said before and will continue to say, the time you have spent in the Purple Lands and the feedback you have provided are what shaped this Demo. So once again, thank you all! 💜🪻 We hope you have fun cleansing Purple Lands! The Demo is available on Steam and Epic Store. Check the link in our bio! #gaming #rpg #gamedemo #indiedev #games

Want to WIN one of our printed and hand-painted models? Our DDoD 3D models have had so much work and love put into designing and painting them. We want to share that love with all of you. The figurines also glow in the dark for maximum cuteness. DDoD will be running a competition where you can win one of our exclusive mutants and a key to the game. When: 15-22 June. Where: In DDoD. How: KILL A MILLION MUTANTS. Each time the community hits one of the milestones, 1 mutant and 1 key are added to the raffle pool. #indiegame #game #gamedev #win #competition

There are so many creatures that make up DDoD, and we need your help. So many creatures do not have names yet. So we want to task our players with naming some of them. First, our dangerous cow needs a name. She is fierce but incredibly misunderstood. Send your suggestions below, and we will pick the best ones! #gamedev #indiedev #gaming #mutant #game

This is the score of DDoD, the sound of the Fog, of empty industrial ruins, of underground corridors, and the long stretches between them. Today, we are so proud to release our Original Soundtrack for DDoD. So, here is the music. If you enjoy it, or if you simply want to back the people building this game, picking up the soundtrack is one of the most direct ways to support us. A lot of love went into the creation of the tracks, and we are so happy to share them with you. If you want to view and purchase the OST it is on our Steam Page. The link is in our bio! #ost #indiedev #gamedev #demomonday #gaming

A lot of work has been done to make our weapons feel authentic to the post-apocalyptic scene the game is set in. Here is the selection of ranged weapons you can use, along with a showcase of our Heavy Rifle that you can use to purge the mutated. What weapon would you like to see in the game? #gaming #indiedev #gamedev #roguelite #steam

Playtest#1 Cycle #1-#12 is Over. Thank You, Volunteers! That's a wrap on our Playtest Cycle #1, and we cannot thank you enough! Over the past months, you've ventured deep into the Purple Fog, hunted in the fog, broken things in beautiful ways, and sent us a flood of feedback, bug reports, clips, and screenshots. Every single one of them is helping us shape DDoD into the game we love playing ourselves. What happened during the Playtest: • you've played 35,311 hours together, which roughly translates into 49 months. That's enough time to get a medical degree. • you've walked 138,921 kilometers combined. For perspective, it's almost 3.5 times around the Earth equator or more then a third distance to the Moon. • you've killed 2,994,644 mutants in the Purple Lands and died 26,151 times. You can count, that collective K/D ratio was 120:1 - for every time you died, you took 120 of them with you. Honestly, it's the most efficient military operation in the Purple Lands. • 4,513,457 rounds of 9mm were collected . That's approximately 54 tonnes of lead passing through the Purple Lands. Environmentally concerning. • by the way, a regular Soldier was the most dangerous mofo who killed you about 8958 times (35% of the all player deaths). Old habits die hard, eh? • the most thrilling and deadliest encounter was at TKZ Prohres, where Grenadiers and Frograts claimed 865 lives combined. • and a Frograt killed you 2,352 times all around the Purple Lands. A frog. Did that. To you. We will not elaborate further. And a couple of personal scores for the history: • the longest single run covered 62.21 km - that's a marathon and a half, through a post-apocalyptic nightmare. • one of you killed 945 mutants in a single 8-hour session - that's one kill every 31 seconds, without stopping. Who are you, Reaper? Every bug report, every Discord message, every feedback survey helped us to polish the game and improve the moment-to-moment feel. Huge thank you, folks! We're now heading back into the bunker to dig the last pieces of your feedback and get the Demo build ready. The Playtest build will stay with you for another week or so (we keep looking into the data)! It won't be long until you hear from us again. Until then, stay tuned for more! See you in the Fog, The DDoD Team 💜

As gamers ourselves, we know there's something special about achievements👀 That unexpected unlock after a crazy fight and that badge you didn't even know you were chasing. That warm feeling of "the devs actually noticed what I just pulled off." That's exactly why we're actively working on the achievement system in DDoD and that's also because we believe every great moment in your run deserves to be celebrated. More are coming. What achievement would make YOU smile? #DDoD #gamedev #indiegame #achievements

Patch #9 is here, bringing new systems to exploration, combat, and progression! This update adds Elemental Fogs, Fog of War, updated map icons, and Crafting System. Elemental Fogs are special combat arenas featuring fire, ice, and electric elemntal nature of the fogs, valuable goods in the fogs protected by the miniboss. These rewards, along with resources found across the map, can now be used in Crafting System workbenches, you can find oen in the bunker. We also added Fog of War to the map, so unexplored areas stay hidden until you discover them. On top of that, map icons and markers are now clearer, with improved hover info for locations and teammates.

When the fog closes in and the mutants won’t stop coming, surviving alone is almost impossible. In DDoD, every teammate matters and sometimes, one helping hand can change everything. Don’t leave your squad behind. Cover each other, stay close, and revive your allies when they fall. A true survivor is not just the one who fights well, but the one who helps others get back on their feet. #DDoD #IndieGame
