Dated 1636 on the exterior, with the frame obscuring the earlier doorway.
A medieval effigy lies on the floor, beneath a simple Gothic canopy, inside St Decumanus's, Rhoscrowther. The name of the person that this effigy commemorates is unknown, having been lost to history. However, we can speculate…

Hidden under limewash around this lovely door at the Church of All Saints & St. Andrew in Kingston, Cambridgeshire, is some early 16th century graffiti thought to commemorate 3 children who died in a plague outbreak; Cateryn, Jane and Amee Maddyngley ❤️

A fantastic blocked doorway in the 11th century tower of St. Andrew’s Church, Middleton, North Yorkshire 😀 I like how the round head of the arch is broken by the window, and the sculpted stone cross above is interesting too 🤩
Nekropolis Minois: There are 233 tombs quarried directly into the rock in the Late Minoan Cemetery of Armeni, Crete. Some are very impressive, some to small to even look inside. In May the tombs are surrounded by a wide variety of wild flowers.
Hands Well: Tissington in Derbyshire is known as the mother place of well dressing and visitors come from all over the world to witness the annual well dressing ceremony.
