Radio was great because when it began, families would listen to it together in the living room. It required complete focus. Now media is fragmented and we multi-task. Retention is low. Here’s a case to bring back the discipline for complete focus. open.substack.com/pub/curiou…

I respect Philip K Dick as a writer because, unlike most science fiction writers, he could articulate a world and story without having to write a massive volume.

At my son's birthday party, I spotted a neighbor reading Hail Mary. I stopped him. We talked for ten minutes. Turns out we had more in common than a book. Honey, fire up the BBQ, we're having gator tail tonight.
Big gator surprise in this garage from Sun City Center, Florida! Can you imagine walking out to that?! Great reminder to always check your surroundings, especially now that it's their mating season! Credit: Kash T 🐊

I got a 3d printer, but I'm not sure where to start. I'm testing small prints to get the basics down. But now my kids are calling it a "Toy Machine." They think they can conjure up anything they want.

I don’t go to Starbucks, but when it had the Oleato, I actually really liked it and would visit occasionally to get it.

One of the perks of being in Florida is that you can be over a hundred miles away and still glimpse a space launch in your backyard. We see these on the Treasure Coast if the sky is clear.
