You have a random newborn baby and a microwave: every second you put the baby in the microwave earns you $1 million. For how many seconds do you put the baby in the microwave?
America is an objectively awful evil country in so many ways which only makes it more hilarious that whenever. Europeans try and come for us, their attacks are the food (?), the natural geography (??), and pop culture and sports (???). That’s like literally all we do well!
Think about how many suburban kids have had their world opened up by traveling to a city with world class public transit or been inspired by a world class museum or interacted with a culture or people outside their own that completely changed their views
If people want to travel because they think it would be cool to see this or that thing, that’s fine, but the idea that people are learning anything novel or valuable from these experiences is absurd. In order to learn anything that isn’t already on Wikipedia or repeated on a thousand travel blogs you’d actually have to go some place that’s incredibly remote, dangerous or unpleasant and almost nobody is interested in doing that.
The Center for World University Rankings has once again ranked Texas Tech among the top echelon of higher education institutions in the world.

The sport isn’t popular in America but the Americans that do watch it probably know more about the sport than the average football fan in any other country because we actually have to seek it out intentionally where as the rest of the world is born into it
"Unless it's a top university, go to the cheapest one that you like."
This is the right advice for those deciding on which college to attend when thinking about future employment
Going to Boston University or Oberlin just won't matter
