ALT Three Wyrd Sisters dole out the thread of some poor souls life. One unwinding it from the spool, the second measuring it, the last cutting it with a knife. Their faces are for the most part in shadow. One has a symbol of an eye on their hood. Animal shapes in silhouette frame the cave they stand in. While in the barren rocky background at the left, soldiers have arrived, perhaps to consult them.
ALT A group of mercenary looking sailors and other travellers gather below deck on a ship, not all of them human looking. They watch two armoured warriors, an elven woman and a human man play a hand of cards. One of the players has looked at the image on his card only to have some sort of winged snake made of light emanate from it. He appears shocked and transfixed.
ALT Two goblins dressed as adventurer's and a their human companion appear to force their way into a room in a dungeon complex, they have a forth companion outside providing light in the form of a blazing torch. The room is filled to the waist with treasure of all kinds, coins, crowns, and perhaps an array of magical objects. A large sinister looking statue can be seen behind the opened door, whilst upon the door itself, a guardian cartouche in the form of a Gorgon's head. A deck of cards can be clearly seen in the extreme foreground.
ALT It is night in a misty or fog laden medieval-esque city street or town. Several tavern like buildings can be seen, mostly thrown into silhouette by the meagre light (provided by a lantern and a lit window), a lone figure strides confidently through the street in the he centre, watched from all sides by several other figures, each one holding a knife or crossbow. In the distance deep in the mist on the left, the silhouettes of several cats can be seen.
