This is a fixture France usually struggle to get up for but they’re enjoying playing this type of rugby so every game is relaxed and fun and energy levels stay high. And French teams usually ease off when ahead. This feels different.

Watching the Ireland game for the 1st time and Rob Baloucoune was outstanding in the opening 30 mins. His tackle success for Ulster this season is 95.8% - the best of any back in Ireland. He made 11 tackles today, missing 0. For a winger, that's phenomenal. #ENGvIRE #SixNations

Wales are brave, have a few good players and have a some basic elements sorted but only a win really changes anything, cos of the run they’re on.

An average performance from Scotland but a scratchy come from behind BP win away in wales a week after beating England is great outcome for them.

Very short advantage given for the Scotland knock on. Bit of justice with that turnover.

Don’t think I’ve ever seen a try like that at international level. You need a quarter of your team to switch off and even after the kick is made you still have time to react.

Russell been brilliant again. Completely unaffected by the scoreline.

If it’s not Scotland (after a win over England) that wales are playing, Hawkins doesn’t catch that bouncing ball. And if it’s England he’s playing, Huw Jones catches that pass from VDM and scores under posts.

When Scotland do make big breaks, a couple of times a slow front 5 player has made the next carry and taken away all the momentum.

One of many, many utterly harrowing elements of that is this: England 22 entries: 12 Ireland 22 entries: 9 21-42 FT. 👋🏼

Wales have a great chance here but one of their better players, Tomos Williams, is having an off day. Could be even further ahead.

Not the whole story but it looks like Borthwick has either over relied on data or misinterpreted it or looked at the wrong data.

Farrell doesn’t always get the mental prep right but he gets it right more than most coaches. Meanwhile England have looked really flat, slow witted, lacking in focus two weeks in a row. That Pepper penalty on his knees near Ireland line in 2nd half summed them up. Idiotic.

Hard to look past those turnover numbers as the decider today. #SCOvENG

The blocked Ford DG is best example in the game of how Scotland looked like they could read England’s attack. All those poaches and double hits on England carriers smacks of a team that had England sussed before kick off. They then executed it brilliantly, but the plan was there

Scotland always stay bad just long enough to sucker you into thinking they won’t beat England.

That mad shit only happens in this fixture. When do you see a blocked DG end up in a breakaway try. Scotlands jackal turnovers ruling the second half so far.

England knock on, score three points. Dominant scrum takes all the pressure off your own teams handling. You mess up, you still benefit.
A bit like when you play SA, England being a man down less significant, cos of the scrum dominance. That alone could pull them back into this.

Worth putting in context that he executes this skill knowing England’s blitz defence wanna knock his head off.
