Thank you to the Royal Canadian Legion for its generous donation of more than $1M to support the Canadian Military, Veteran and Family Connected Campus Consortium (CMVF3C). This donation will help the University of Alberta grow its supports for veterans and their families as they pursue post-secondary education.

On Remembrance Day, flags were flown at half mast at the University of Alberta in honour of those who serve and have served. Professor Bremault-Phillips laid a wreath on behalf of the University of Alberta and HiMARC during the Royal Canadian Legion Kingsway Branch #175 ceremony.

On October 30, the U of A was proud to lead the signing of the Guiding Principles for the Canadian Military, Veteran and Family Connected Campus Consortium, which supports those who have served or are serving to pursue academic success. Thank you to all our government and post-secondary partners for your continued support and engagement, and an even bigger thank you to our military personnel and their families for including us in your future endeavors.

A huge thank you to the First Response PTSD Foundation for their generous donation to the Heroes in Mind Advocacy and Research Consortium (HiMARC)! @yegfirstfashion @himarc The University of Alberta's Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine and HiMARC accepted the gift at a special event on Friday. The team at HiMARC works towards improving the health and wellbeing of military members, veterans, public safety personnel and their families. The First Response PTSD Foundation provides first responders in Alberta access to groundbreaking virtual reality rehabilitation and research through HiMARC. Fundraising is through their annual First Response to Fashion event. Thank you to the foundation for their generous donations over the years.
