Toronto has its very own world class Israel Genocide Celebration Parade.
This Sunday, Toronto Police will be present at the annual Walk with Israel event to ensure the safety of all participants and the surrounding community. Officers will be on-site alongside our policing partners from York, Durham, Peel, and the OPP. Watch the video for more from Deputy Chief Lauren Pogue.

Housing prices started to plummet in 2022 and new Canadian arrivals started to rapidly decrease two years later. Doesn't even correlate. Never mind cause.

Smart move by both of them.
WATCH: I asked Mamdani that while he won't be attending given his personal views, is the administration sending a representative on behalf of the administration to the parade? Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch steps in and points to herself. Mamdani nods in agreement.

Israel is becoming a pariah state. Yet “Israelis make a big mistake in treating every new critic as an antisemite. Much criticism stems from Israel’s behavior” — its genocide in Gaza, apartheid and settler violence in the West Bank, endless occupation. trib.al/gduXhWn

Perhaps restaurants in Canada are not 'overperforming' but performing the way they know how.

"Zionism will not recover from having supported a genocide" ~ @bartov_omer

His book 'An Inconvenient Cop' moved me. I hope @EdwinRaymondNYC lasts.
New York City just made history. 🗽 Proud of my friend @EdwinRaymondNYC 🙏🏾 Mayor Zohran Mamdani has appointed Edwin Raymond, former NYPD Lieutenant, whistleblower, and author of An Inconvenient Cop, as the new Sheriff of New York City. Edwin Raymond didn’t just survive the system. He fought it from the inside. He led the largest civil rights lawsuit in NYPD history challenging illegal arrest quotas. He exposed racial profiling when it was career suicide to do so. And he wrote the book — literally — on what real accountability in policing looks like. Now he’s running the office. This is what it looks like when a mayor chooses justice over politics. Mayor Mamdani called him “principled, courageous and deeply committed to justice” and the record backs every word of that. The city is watching. The country is watching. And for once, the right person is in the room. 👊🏾 📖 Read his story: An Inconvenient Cop: My Fight to Change Policing in America

Seen this? "Addressing the root causes of structural determinants of health remains essential, but strategies such as ensuring affordable drug pricing and expanding access to specialty care may improve asthma management in the near term." Action? jamanetwork.com/journals/jam…
Asthma affects hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers, but in low-income communities & communities of color, it’s also the leading cause of emergency visits and hospitalizations. @nycHealthy is on the front lines addressing this undeniable link between health and wealth. Watch ⬇️

I began writing this book in detention and finished it fighting a deportation order. I wrote it because testimony is one of the few things that can make injustice visible before it becomes inevitable. My hope is that anyone who reads it understands: Palestine is not the exception, it is the warning. The rights we are losing were never only ours to lose. Thank you @HenryHolt

Agree that Raghu Venugopal @raghu_venugopal went out of his way to create a false narrative as an antigenocide protest walked by *his* hospital that night. No patients had trouble entering or leaving Mt Sinai because of the protest. Shame.
