Ranking mode will be quite different in how it plays now, with different rules. It's no longer "get to 30 minutes and then Yagoos come in". The spawns, mob types, patterns, aren't a copy of Stage Mode anymore. It's no longer a case of waiting till 30 minutes for Yagoos either

It will just be a different type of content rather than being a copy of Stage Mode. This is something that required a lot of time to change, and I've been talking to some of the top leaderboard runners to get their thoughts on the direction. I hope people will like the changes!

Today I learned that some of those super cheap random brand LED strips bought from Amazon can just suddenly explode and actually burst into a fire luckily I was in the living room when it happened and I dashed to unplug it... is calli and mooms trying to kill me perhaps

Another quick showcase of how some characters' skills have been changed. In 0.8, a few skills are now manually activated by a new dedicated "Skill Action" button. This button allows some of the older characters to have better player control over when skills are activated

When I look at the newest characters, it's very clear there is a massive gap in design quality compared to the earliest characters I look at the old characters that I designed back in 2021, 2022, and I realize that's like over 4 years ago and then I turn to dust
Update 0.8 will have 9 new characters, but there will also be a ton of updates to older characters that a lot of them feel a bit new too. Bunch of characters have skills that entirely reworked. Some even have a whole new Special or main weapon. And I SWEAR, there are no nerfs.
